What wood species are available?

Normally any of the species we have listed under our woods species menu. If you can't find what you need please email us and we'll find out if we can obtain the species that your looking for.

What accuracy should I expect when ordering?

We do our best to cut projects to the exact size you requested and will make our cuts to within 1/32 of an inch. Some variations could effect the measurement you provide and actually receive. First of all not all tape measures are created equal, see Tape measures under the menu item Measurements and why we suggest that you check your tape to ensure it's accurate. Secondly the moisture content in wood will effect its size, it may shrink or expand slightly once in your location.

I don't see a design I like?

Our plans are to add at least one new piece of furniture and one kit per month. If you would like to have a piece specially designed just for you, please email us and we'll give you a call to start the design process.

Will there be imperfections in the wood?

Wood is a natural resource, all real solid wood contains small imperfections. We use these small imperfections to further enhance your project. These small knots and flecks in the wood are what make it special, no two pieces are ever exactly the same. It's also an indication that you have a real piece of wood and not a stamped on picture of wood grain on pressed board.
